Cala Saona is located in one of western Formentera’s most attractive enclaves, immersed in forests, pine groves and dunes. Despite its small size (only 140 metres long and 200 metres wide), Cala Saona has become a must for tourists, thanks to its peaceful beauty.
The spectacular cliffs at Punta Rasa can be reached on foot from Cala Saona, since they are barely 10 minutes from the beach. Furthermore, the views from the beach itself are breathtaking: the coast of Punta Pedrera and the island of Ibiza are both within view.
And Cala Saona offers a wide array of complementary services for those who wish to have a more active stay: water sports, pedalos, refreshment stands, hammocks, sunshades, a restaurant and a car park, among others.
Cala Saona can be reached by car, bicycle or on foot by following one of the island’s green itineraries, in this case, Camí de Cala Saona, which connects Porto Salè with Cala Saona and takes visitors around the countryside to enjoy farmlands and popular architecture.

This small beach, despite its limited size (it is hardly 140m long) is one of the most beautiful you can visit.
Its characteristic tranquillity and beauty make this cove a place not to be missed for tourists.
It is surrounded, of course, by restaurants and bars, where you can eat or cool down with a drink while you enjoy the marvellous views it offers of the nearby island of Ibiza or, without going so far, the coast of Punta Pedrera or the lovely Punta Rasa cliffs, which can easily be accessed on foot as they are hardly 10 minutes from the beach.
